Silicone Masterbatch Additives for Engineering Plastics

Engineering plastics compounds lubricant additives are introduced by Xiangxi. It uses PET as the main carrier. It can be also powder or no carrier silicone masterbatch. It is dedicated to engineering plastics PA, PC, PET and other engineering materials, anti-floating fiber scratch-resistant role, improve productivity and product stability and yield, easy to release, reduce torque, internal and external lubrication, and to improve the role of the surface.

Product Description:

Xiangxi Engineering Plastics compounds silicone additives are high molecular weight silicone additive with a composite carrier, primarily utilized in PA, PC, ABS, and other engineering plastics. It boasts superior dispersibility and compatibility within plastics, minimizing its impact on material mechanical properties. DX900 enhances demolding performance and surface smoothness while providing lubrication, wear resistance, scratch resistance, and effective floating fiber improvement.

Use Methods:

  1. 1. It can be blended with virgin polymer pellets to give the desired siloxane level in the final product.
  2. It can also be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during injection molding or extrusion.

 

Recommend Dosage:

  • When added at a ratio of 0.5-1.5% to a thermoplastic resin system, the resin’s processing and flow properties are improved. This includes improved injection molding fill, reduced extrusion torque, enhanced internal lubrication, better demolding performance, and faster discharge speed.
  • When added at a ratio of 1.5-3.0%, it improves the surface performance of the product, enhances lubrication and slip properties, reduces the coefficient of friction, increases wear resistance, and provides an especially good feel.

Stored in a cool and dry place, unopened at room temperature, the product is valid for 12 months.
