Product Description:

Xiangxi Silicone Additives for Wire and cables Compounds are pelletized formulation with 40- 50% ultra high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in low density polyethylene (LDPE )/EVA/TPE. It is widely used as an efficient processing additive in PE/EVA/TPE compatible resin system to improve the processing properties and modify surface quality.

Use Methods:

  1. It can be blended with virgin polymer pellets to give the desired siloxane level in the final product.
  2. It can also be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during injection molding or extrusion.

 

Recommend Dosage:

  • Adding at a 1.0-2.0% ratio to the thermoplastic resin system improves processing and flow performance. This results in well-formed injection molding, reduced extrusion torque, improved internal lubrication, enhanced demolding performance, and faster flow speed.
  • Adding at a ratio of 3.0-4.0%, it enhances the surface performance of the product. This results in improved lubrication and sliding properties, a reduced friction coefficient, and increased wear resistance.
